The must-see acts at Market Days 2019, from Icona Pop to Jake Shears

Five stages will deliver non-stop live performances at Northalsted Market Days 2019, featuring the Swedish electropop duo Icona Pop (pictured) and Jake Shears, among others. 

The two-day festival includes a diverse mix of national acts and local talent. 

The 38th annual Northalsted Market Days takes place on Aug. 10-11 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The event runs down Halsted Street from Belmont to Addison. A $10 suggested donation is requested at the entrance.

Sheila E. is kicking off the lineup at the Northalsted Market Days' Bud Light Stage this weekend. The multi-talented singer and actress is commonly known as "The Queen of Percussion."

Deborah Cox will be taking her talents to the Bud Light Stage this weekend, returning to Northalsted Market Days for the third time. The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter is best known for her 1988 hit "Nobody's Supposed to Be Here".

Steve Grand will be performing at Northalsted Market Days on Saturday, August 10, marking the fourth time he has been a major part of the largest street festival in the Midwest.

Jake Shears, fresh off an appearance at WorldPride closing ceremonies in Times Square, will be bringing that same fierceness to Northalsted Market Days this weekend for a show that's sure to turn heads.

Grace Martine Tandon is known as her stage name Daya. The singer is from Pennsylvania and grew up in the public eye thanks to some major pop hits including “Hide Away” and “Sit Still, Look Pretty.” Her song “Don’t Let Me Down” teamed her up with musicians The Chainsmokers’ and led her to the top 10.

Chicago singer Elaine Dame is jazzing up Northalsted Market Days this weekend as she takes her talents to the appropriately-named Jazz Stage.

The Grammy Award-winning R&B and soul singer-songwriter will replace Todrick Hall in Sunday's line-up, organizers announced this week. Gray is best known for her international hit single "I Try."

Chicago's own DJ Cindel kicks off his Northalsted Market Days set at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday - a prelude to Nina Flowers who take over at 7:30 p.m.

Get ready to dance this weekend at Market Days as Icona Pop takes the Bud Light Stage Sunday night. The Swedish electropop duo just released a new single from their upcoming studio album, "Next Mistake." They also recently performed at St. Louis Pridefest.
