A diverse lineup of entertainers are pegged to take the stages at Market Days 2018 as organizers release the entertainment line-up for the popular two-day street festival in Boystown this August.
The Northalsted Business Alliance released an early line-up to ChicagoPride.com in May, detailing the slew of performers scheduled for the four different entertainment stages.
Multi-faceted entertainer Todrick Hall graces the stage as part of his Forbidden tour on Saturday, Aug. 11, while Betty Who brings the beat on Sunday, Aug. 12 with her power pop. MAX, of gold single "Lights Down Low" fame closes out the festival on Sunday night.
"The LGBTQ community is where I feel the most at home," Who told ChicagoPride.com in June before an exclusive Pride event at the AT&T Michigan Avenue flagship store.
"It's going to be lit," she said of her upcoming Market Days appearance.
Additional acts include out country singer Ty Herndon, Kristine W., Ultra Nate, and Kimberly Locke, as well as, Chicago mainstays – like 16 Candles, Catfight, and Rod Tuffcurls – all split between two days and four stages.
"We can't wait to welcome our neighbors and visitors alike to celebrate summer in Boystown," said Northalsted Business Alliance Executive Director Chad Honeycutt.
The annual Northalsted Market Days festival takes place on Aug. 11-12 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The event runs down Halsted Street from Belmont to Addison. A $10 suggested donation is requested at the entrance.
