San Antonio, Texas, is the third-largest metropolitan area in the state, with a vast amount of territory to cover for visitors. No need to feel overwhelmed, narrow things down with a list of excursions from CityPASS. After visiting citypass.com, customers may purchase a mobile ticket to four destinations for a flat rate and save up to 38% in the process.

This gives explorers control over their experiences while visiting Alamo City according to their personal preferences. The Alamo Mission is a must-see site at 300 Alamo Plaza, complete with beautiful gardens and timed tours full of history lessons.

Rise and shine as early as possible to visit the San Antonio Zoo, as the animals tend to hide as the heat increases. The zoo also packs people of all ages, which can be a lesson in patience later in the day and especially on weekends. Feed birds by hand, see rare regional animals up close and flock to Pride Plaza for Caribbean flamingos.

Opening this year is the Congo Falls, a habitat covering two acres of land, with the tallest gorilla tower in the world, measuring at over 70 feet tall.

The Pearl District is near the zoo, so swing by for refreshments, food and shopping. On certain days, the farmers' market offers more options from local vendors at booths strategically placed along a route in the square.

Get your bearings with an over 30-minute guided tour aboard a San Antonio River Cruise. Go Rio is a narrated electric barge ride that departs from three ticket booth locations along the River Walk.

Head over to the San Antonio Museum of Art at 200 West Jones Avenue that takes history buffs through 5,000 years of art. Greek statues and Asian artifacts are curated into collections located on separate wings, but all are housed under the same roof.

Take your time as you travel through the ages and prepare for exercise as you stretch those legs when visiting this massive museum. Try samuseum.org for more information on special events and temporary exhibits.

One thing not included in the pass but worthy of your time is a SA Side Car Tour on a speedy Vespa. Sit back and enjoy the ride as your driver takes you to various neighborhoods like the King William Historic District just south of downtown and many other unique places. Sign up and schedule your special adventure at sanantoniosidecars.com.

For nightlife, many of the LGBTQ+ bars are grouped together and designated by rainbow crosswalks around North Main Avenue. Hop from Sparky's Pub to Heat Nightclub to The Pegasus and dance the night away. Many of the queer venues provide indoor and outdoor spaces to be out and proud.

Don't pass up on this multi-attraction opportunity to see and do the best of what San Antonio offers visitors in the River City. For more getaway ideas, click on visitsanantonio.com.
