Mayor Lori Lightfoot announced a full reopening of the City of Chicago allowing public access to popular restaurants, pubs, bars, nightclubs, and other venues without social distancing and at full capacity.

Good News cannabis brand is selling limited Pride Edition gummies and vapes that will benefit Center on Halsted—Chicago's LGBTQ community center—and San Francisco's SFLGBT Center.

Private men's bathhouse Steamworks Chicago is set to reopen Thursday, June 17, according to a statement on Facebook.

Northalsted Market Days is set for a return to Lakeview in 2021. The 39th annual street festival is set for Friday, August 6, Saturday, August 7 and Sunday, August 8, headlined by Trixie Mattel, Todrick Hall, Greyson Chance, Lisa Lisa, CeCe Peniston and Jody Watley.

The Alice L. Walton Foundation and Walton Family Foundation has set up a $1 million fund for LGBTQ advocacy groups in Walmart's home state of Arkansas.

Chicago Red Stars—the women's pro soccer team—announced they will be playing a Pride Night game on Saturday, June 26.

Drag March for Change, an annual event that highlights the Chicago LGBTQ community of color, took over the streets of Lakeview on Sunday, June 13.

The Eye Eaters Society—a not-so-secret supper club and visual arts group—will host its third annual 'Eating Rainbows' festival on Saturday, June 26 from 6 to 10 p.m.

Corporations have embraced the LGBTQ community and have highly commercialized Pride month—celebrated each June.

The hometown Major League Soccer team—Chicago Fire Football Club—is hosting its Pride Night game on Saturday, June 26 at Soldier Field.
