It's finally here, the weather we've all been waiting for. The Cubs are in town this weekend, Snow White and the Seven Drag Queens is taking the stage at Hydrate and the Gay Gaymers are meeting for some board game fun....what will you choose to do? Get out there and have some fun!

THURSDAY, APRIL 16

The Chicago Improv Festival started on Monday, but there are still plenty of laughs to have. Check out the site for a full list of shows and locations.

The FashioNext competition will hold it's finale tonight showcasing the work of it's three finalists: Melissa Serpico Kamhout, Jermikko Shoshanna and Price Walton at the Chicago History Museum, 7-9:30PM. Tickets: $30/$25/$15 includes the show and a cocktail reception.

Catch Spirit House: New Works by Robert Todd. He will be showing several of his short films including Evergreen, Passing and Riverbed. Mr. Todd will appear to present his work starting at 8:30PM. $8/$7/$4

Equality IL is canvassing in the suburbs to encourage voters to support civil unions. HB2234 goes to a final full Senate vote in early May. Take some time out of your busy schedule and volunteer to canvass today. They are also looking for volunteers for next week as well.

Did you know that there's a museum in the historic Water Tower? The City Gallery is a free museum that is currently showing photographs of the aftermath of the great Chicago fire of 1871. I had a chance to take in this exhibit the other day when I was downtown and it's utterly amazing. Take some time out of your busy schedule to check out this free exhibit.

Women, are you looking to add some spice to the bedroom? The Leather Archive & Museum and Early to Bed have teamed up to present "Women & Kink" an informal informational gathering for women who have questions about a kinkier sex life. 6-8PM Pre-Registration is requested as only 20 spots are available.

Those Gay Gamers are meeting at Guthrie's Tavern - 1300 W Addison - at 5PM. This group of fun folks enjoy playing all kinds of games from Balderdash to Mario Kart, bring a game to share or just go to make new friends.
