It's hard to believe that it's June already. The holiday passed us by with nice weather and hopefully a great lead into the rest of the summer. There's plenty of things going on this weekend - so you'd better get out there and have some fun.
THURSDAY, June 3

About Face Theater will host their annual WONKA BALL at Chicago Illuminating Company from 6-10PM. Enjoy a southern-inspired buffet, silent auction, dancing and music topped off by the presentation of this years Leppen Leadership Award. Check the site for tix.

Walk for a cause in the 5th Annual Stray Cat Strut to benefit Tree House Humane Society.
Walk from their Bucktown location to their Uptown HQ to raise awareness of pet overpopulation. $25 registration fee, the walk starts at 10AM.
