Hot on the heels of "Avengers: Infinity," writers Jonathan Hickman, Al Ewing, Dennis Hopeless, Ales Kot, Nick Spencer, and editor Lauren Sankovitch spoke to the New York Comic Con 2013 crowd about the future Marvel's hottest franchise in a panel moderated by Tom Brevport

While they were unable to elaborate on most plot points because of the effects the end of "Infinity" will have on them, they shared some insight into the future of the world's mightiest heroes. Where last year's Marvel Now reboot launched several "Point One" issues, ongoing books which will relaunch during All-New Marvel Now will relaunch with a "Point Now." Brevport was quick to point out that "New Avengers" will be a key book for the whole franchise and that the "Point Now" issue launching in January will be the perfect jumping on point for new readers.

On his new ongoing series focused on street-level heroes "Mighty Avengers," Ewing joked: "Issue 3 will make your head explode." In his eponymous book, Captain America will face off against a Super Solider from another era in an arc spanning issues 13 – 16. As many of the details for the near future while "Infinity" remains ongoing forced the panel to play coy, Brevport immediately launched into what All-New Marvel Now would look like for the Avengers as a whole, including elaborating on the mysterious one word teasers floating on the internet and in certain books:

MINDBUBBLE

After "Captain America" relaunches with 16.Now, February 2014's issue 17 will see Cap facing a new enemy from Project Mindbubble, an organization dedicated to the eradication of Super Soldiers everywhere. The creative team will be Rick Rememnder, Ascal Alixe, Nic Klein.

EXTINCTION

New series "Avengers: AI" will relaunch in January 2014 with issue 8.Now in an arc by Sam Humphries and Andre Arajuo. " The robots are going to take all of us over," Sankovitch said. "Humanity's at an end. Sit back enjoy, you'll all be dead soon."

FRENEMIES

The series "Secret Avengers" will relaunch with writer Ales Kot and artist Michael Walsh at the helm. "The book will return to the classic mission statement," said Kot, which is, "don't get seen, save the world, don't break anything." The team featured on the relaunched series' first cover consisted of Agent Phil Coulson, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Spider-Woman, Nick Fury .

GLOBAL

"Avengers World" will be a new ongoing launching after Infinity in January 2014 and written by Jonathan Hickman and Nick Spencer, with art by Stefano Casselli. "I thought of the title, and then Nick thought of everything else," joked Hickman.

"This is about the Avengers coming back from Infinity and finding a very changed Earth," said Spencer. "It's the hugest book I've ever worked on."

DESCENT

Early in the panel, Hopeless joked that the eighteenth and final issue of his current series "Avengers Arena" is where "everyone dies and then the story is over." That couldn't be further from the truth as his new series, "Avengers Undercover" will launch in February 2014. Some of the killed off players of the Arena will be resurrected and pose undercover as the new Masters of Evil. "They might have more in common with the bad guys than they thought," said Hopeless.

ATONEMENT

A new "Black Widow" title will launch in January 2014 with the tagline: "Agent. Avenger. Assassin."

TRUST

Everyone's favorite trickster will get his own ongoing title "Loki: Agent of Asgard," in February 2014. "On the first page, Loki kills Thor," Ewing said. "But the thing you will learn with this series is that we will trick you every issue. Cuz that's what Loki does." Ewing will be joined on the title by artist Lee Garbett.
