So I was right to be excited by last week's FEARLESS DEFENDERS: one, I heart Misty Knight so much in all her badassery and two, well this hot girl-on-girl liplock with Valkyrie happened. Awesomesauce. The book I'm most excited about this week is a new issue of MORNING GLORIES after a two month break. If you love mystery and intrigue, if you wished LOST were set at Hogwarts, this is the book for you. I have some very personal reasons for loving this book so much (and if you haven't read it yet and don't want any spoilers, do NOT click here!) Yeah one of the Glories is gay. I'll let you pick up the trade paperback to find out which one. Also, my MG buzz keeps going as artist Joe Eisma has been announced to appear in this year's C2E2 Artist Alley and I already have an awesome commision for him!

If you want to get your geek on in person this week, I highly recommend checking out the sketch comedy show The Assemblers this Friday.
