Televangelist Pat Robertson's latest anti-gay comments have landed him on Anderson Cooper's "Ridiculist."

In a Tuesday 700 Club segment, Robertson claimed that gay men in San Francisco are deliberately spreading HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, with special rings that cut others when shaking hands.

"If they got the stuff they'll have a ring, you shake hands, and the ring's got a little thing where you cut your finger," Robertson said. "Really. It's that kind of vicious stuff, which would be the equivalent of murder."

Cooper said the comment put Robertson over the top and onto his regular "The Ridiculist" segment.

"Really? A ring that somehow gives you AIDS. I've never seen that particular section at Zales, have you?" Cooper rhetorically asked his Anderson Cooper 360 viewers. "I totally get why Pat Roberson is against same-sex marriage. He just doesn't want to give gay men a reason to wear rings."
