Pop Goes the GIO is a Chicago based Variety Dance Band. The 6 member band consist of both male and female vocalist covering the very best dance tunes spanning three decades of music from 80’s to today’s current and top 40 hits.
The music appeals to all ages and is a danceable mix of the very best of Classic & Contemporary Rock, Soul, Motown, Pop, and R/B with a kick of Country.
What makes the Gio show uniquely different is the bands vocalist and studio level musicians which allows them to cover and extensive range of musical styles with authenticity and their ability to take request from the audience and perform a repertoire of over 900 hundred songs, and perform them live and on demand to the quality or better than you would expect from the original artist.
