It's still January, did you really think we'd have an early spring? Wishful thinking! Don't use it as an excuse to stay home, bundle up, get out there and have some fun!

THURSDAY, JANUARY 28

Another year of OUT at CHM begins with 'Queer Spaces: Past and Present' cocktails at 5:30, followed by a program exploring how 'city space is rethought and remade by and for queer communities.' Tix are $12 at the door.

The Chicago Blak Gay Men's Caucus and Project Crysp will hold a community forum this evening at The University Center - 525 S State Street at 6PM. 'Justice for All? What is justice for the Black Gay Man?' With Keith Boykin and E. Patrick Johnson. FREE but RSVPS are requested.

Stop by The Tasting Room on Randolph this evening for Vital Nights, the newest premier social networking and charity event supporting Vital Bridges. Tix are $25 and can be purchased online, Complimentary beer, wine and vodka from 6-8PM

FRIDAY, JANUARY 29

Don't miss the chance to purchase art and support a great cause at Chicago Art Source tonight from 6-8PM. They've opened up their back room and are inviting you in for a chance to purchase some rarely seen art and support Chicago House at the same time. B-Fest, the 24-hour marathon of b-movies hits Northwestern Univeristy starting at 6:05PM with a screening of Firewalker. Frankenstein has also made the cut, a midnight screening of Plan 9 from Outer Space, Scream Blacula Scream and more. Tickets are $35 for all the fun. Check the site for full details.

Trikone Chicago, a group for South Asian queers will host Jai Ho 3: Bollywood Jalwa at Big Chicks from 10PM-2AM, it's all queer, all Bollywood with a special performance at midnight. $5 suggested donation.

BONUS - Normally the Art Institute is only open late on Thursdays, but tonight they will open the Modern Wing for an "After Dark" event. Tix are $25 and include complimentary appetizers and music - drinks will be available. Purchase tickets online.

SATURDAY, JANUARY 30

The Windy City Rollers, our very own female roller derby team, has their season opener tonight at the UIC Pavilion. Hell's Belles will take on Double Crossers at 6PM, doors open at 5PM and tickets can be purchased online.

How about some vintage beef? Catch Marlon Brando in a Streetcar Named Desire at the Gene Siskel Film Center at 3PM. You can also catch another screening on Feb 1 at 6PM.
