Mental Health Moment - Faith

Mon. October 5, 2020

By Bill Pritchard

It's time for all of us to be mindful of and strengthen our Mental Health.

Let's look at Faith as a way to supplement our mind's health. Whether you believe in God or not, we all have faith in things bigger than ourselves. Family, friends, or nature just to name a few. We can use the strength that often comes from our faith, to partner with us on our mental health journey.

Faith has been a sore spot for many in the LGBTQIA community. For many, their faith proved to be a weapon used against them in coming out, or staying in the closet. I want to encourage you to look past that, and recall the benefits of faith. It takes religion and replaces it with relationship.

Consider this investment in yourself.
