Sold-out crowd welcomes spring with annual fundraiser for Chicago House

Chicago, IL - Chicago House and Social Service Agency celebrated springtime with its 32nd annual spring brunch and fashion show at the Harold Washington Library on Sunday, May 6.

A lively and energetic sold-out crowd of more than 300 guests enjoyed "REVIVE! Rally on the Runway," which was held in the beautiful Winter Garden Ballroom at Chicago's Harold Washington Library.

A springtime tradition, the annual fundraiser included a three-course gourmet brunch, specialty cocktails, entertainment and a fashion show featuring men's and women's fashions from local retailers, national ateliers and internally-awarded designers.

Guests were also able to purchase flowers at the one-of-a-kind "Flower Market" with a variety of over 60+ fresh floral arrangements from different local floral designers, all sold to benefit Chicago House.

Chicago House Chief Executive Officer Scott Ammarell presented the Spirit Award to Michael Quinlan as the event celebrated his accomplishments in the community. 

This year's event was produced by Quenten Schumacher and sponsored by The Chris and Derek Bagley Family Foundation. NBC Chicago's Chris Hush emceed.

Sponsors included BMO Harris Bank, Gilead, MB Financial Bank, Care Roofing, Replay Beer and Bourban, Orbitz, Cram Fashion, and Saville Flowers among others.

The annual event is a benefit for Chicago House.

Founded in 1985, Chicago House has served individuals and families impacted by HIV/AIDS, LBGTQ and gender non-conformity marginalization, poverty and homelessness. The organization has provided housing, employment services, medical linkage and retention services, HIV prevention and education, and legal services.
