Chicago, IL - Two men were reportedly robbed at knifepoint in their Lincoln Square home by a man they met on Grindr.

One of the victims chatted with the offender on the popular gay dating app early Monday morning and eventually invited him over to an apartment in the 4500 block of North Damen, according to Crime in Boystown.

Once inside the apartment, the man robbed the roommates - ages 36 and 44 - at knifepoint. After a scuffle, the offender got away with a gray coat. No one was injured in the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white man 25- to 30-years-old with a receding hairline and a Southern accent.

In November, two men were arrested in a string of armed robberies on Chicago's North Side after using Grindr to lure victims.
