Matthew Morrison, the actor who plays Will Schuester on the Fox hit musical series Glee, revealed that people often think he is gay.
In an interview with Elle, the 31-year-old actor responded to a question about his sexuality with, "I'm not gay."
"I grew up singing and dancing, so people have been calling me gay since fifth grade," the actor said. "I've heard everything you could possibly hear about it."
Morrison added, "But I do love gay people, so I'm not going to act like I was insulted or angry about it."
Morrison's sexuality has been the subject of much speculation on the Internet following an interview with the Advocate
Morrison revealed his first kiss was with two girls at the same time and that he had a crush on Tiffani-Amber Thiessen from Saved by the Bell. "I loved her."
Morrison recently received a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical TV Series. Glee lead with four nominations.
New episodes of Glee begin April 13 on Fox.
