Burrito Beach first opened in 1995 on the streets of Lake and Dearborn in Chicago. Guests enter the establishment to choose items prepared through an assembly line of workers.
The casual environment is the perfect place to enjoy fresh Mexican food or for party planning, have it catered by BB. The menu consists of much more than burritos and ranges from quesadillas to tacos. There are mouth-watering vegan options and fun family meal kits. There is a special breakfast menu for early risers.
To wash it all down, there are fountain drinks onsite and at 1000 West North Avenue in Lincoln Park, folks can sip on margaritas and Bloody Marias, among other beverages offered exclusively there.
For six months, celebrity chefs have assembled their own take on a burrito that's available for purchase to benefit charities. The company has guaranteed at least $5,000 to worthy organizations such as Pilot Light and Kitchen Possible.
Chef Paul Kahan is serving a spicy steak burrito, Chef Margaret Pak has created a masala chicken burrito and Chef Beverly Kim mixed together a bibimbap steak burrito for patrons. Everyone is a winner with a promotion such as this and tasty activations are planned for the next few months. For a dollar, chips with a variety of accompaniments are slated from now through October at many of the Burrito Beach restaurants.
