Man beaten, robbed in Lakeview

Police are searching for a group of men who beat a man unconscious and robbed him of his money and cell phone in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood Monday according to abc7chicago.com.

The incident happened around 5 a.m. on Monday near Halsted and Buckingham.

The man was reportedly walking in the area when he heard a car pull up and six men attacked him from behind. When he woke up his money and cell phone were gone.

Police have not linked this incident to similar attacks in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood.
