Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum on Thursday night asked viewers of the Fox Business Network's undercard GOP debate to Google him.

"Go and google Rick Santorum and Hillary Clinton, you'll see a five-minute debate. I'll let you decide who won the debate," Santorum said during his closing statements. "I'll tell you who won."

Encouraging people to google "Santorum" could be a misstep for the presidential hopeful.

Among the results the search engine will return on the first page is a blog for the site Spreading Santorum, which is where you will find gay activist and author Dan Savage's definition for "Santorum": 1. The frothy mixture of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the by-product of anal sex. 2. Former Senator Rick Santorum. The site was Savage's response to Santorum's 2003 remarks likening gay sex to "man on dog."

The gaffe quickly went viral on social networks.

"Hi I'm Rick Santorum," GOP rival Donald Trump tweeted. "I don't need to introduce myself. Just google me. Just make sure your kids aren't in the room."

During the 2012 election cycle, Google refused Santorum's request to not include the site in its results.
