Roscoe's among top destinations for Lyft riders in 2015

The popular ride sharing service Lyft has named the top destinations in Chicago where the most people are being dropped off in 2015 and Roscoe's Tavern is among the hottest destinations.
The inaugural Lyftie awards honor the most requested destinations in Lyft's top markets across the U.S. by tabulating data from about 6 thousand passengers and more than 2 thousand drivers. "These were where bellies were filled, drinks were had, and fists were pumped," according to Lyft's website.
"We tallied up the drop-off numbers in each market and looked at the top destinations for each category," Lyft spokesperson Mary Caroline Pruitt explained. "As for categories, we developed those after taking a peek at the results and seeing what trends we spotted."
Locally, Roscoe's located at the corner North Halsted and Roscoe Streets in Chicago's Boystown neighborhood was the "Most Visited Bar" by Lyft riders in 2015.
The complete list of Chicago winners are: Most Visited Restaurant: Big Star; Most Visited Bar: Roscoe's; Most Visited Event Space: Wrigley Field; Most Visited Transit Stop: Union Station; Only in Chicago — Top Deep Dish Pizza Spot: Pequod's Pizza; and Trending Destination: TCBY, a frozen yogurt chain, is the overall top requested destination in Chicago.
Overall more than 60 local hotspots in San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, D.C., Boston, Seattle, Austin, Nashville, and Miami were among the winners in Lyft's first annual awards program.
