Chicago's 6th Annual "Pride Fest" a Pre-Pride Celebration

Featuring: Dance legend Martha Wash… '80s teen pop icon Tiffany… American Idol contestants Kimberley Locke and Frenchie Davis

Chicago, IL - Dance music legend Martha Wash (The Weather Girls, C+C Music Factory), '80s teen pop sensation Tiffany, house music chanteuse Inaya Day, and American Idol contestants Kimberley Locke and Frenchie Davis are among the artists set to perform at Chicago's 6th annual Pride Fest. The GLBT community-wide celebration will be held on Saturday, June 28, on North Halsted and Waveland from 11:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.

Held one day before the city's annual gay/lesbian Pride Parade, Pride Fest is sponsored by the Northalsted Area Merchants Association. Suggested gate donation is $5.

In addition, a fun-filled pet parade, sponsored by PETCO and open to all, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Others scheduled to perform on Pride Fest's two entertainment stages include: Chicago's '70s disco-funk band 7DEEZ, and pop music cover band 16 Candles.

In addition to music/entertainment, Pride Fest will feature an eclectic assortment of food and arts & crafts vendors. The entertainment lineup:
