Center on Halsted rolls out the red carpet for Oscar

Center on Halsted is rolling out their red carpet again this year for its annual On The Red Carpet party this Sunday, March 2 at Chicago's Park West, 322 W. Armitage.
With an evening that includes cocktail service, a buffet of heavy hor'doruves, and a host of exclusive silent auction gifts, guests are sure to feel like stars themselves.
Tickets range from the $40 paparazzi ticket, which includes two drink tickets, balcony seating, and buffet to the $75 spotlight ticket, which includes cabaret table seating and cocktail service, buffet dinner, and three drink tickets. Guests will have to call Center on Halsted to check the availability of the $125 celebrity ticket, which comes with its own lux accommodations.
Peter Johnson, Director of Public Relations for Center on Halsted sees the party as a great excuse to get dressed up and experience the Academy Awards as if you were there in person.
"One of the great draws of this party is to be extravagant, get dressed up, go to the Park West, and experience the Hollywood style," said Johnson.
With other competing Oscar parties occurring throughout the city, Dustin Erikstrup, Manager of Special Events for Center on Halsted, is confident that COH's Oscar Party stands out among the rest and attributes the Park West and its dynamic entertainment system.
"It's the best mix of both being able to watch the Academy Awards and being able to mix and mingle with your friends. We're streaming the awards on three large screens, so there's not a bad seat in the house," said Erikstrup.
According to Erikstrup, last year's party raised over $60,000 for Center on Halsted and this year's event is expected to gross more.
