Chicago, IL - The Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events kicks-off Chicago Bike Week taking place June 10-14 as part of Bike Chicago 2013, presented by the City of Chicago and Goose Island Beer Company.

"More and more people are biking on our streets and lakefront path, whether it is to ride to work, to the store or just for fitness," said Mayor Rahn Emanuel, "Bicycling is a reliable, fast, affordable, healthy and great form of transportation that all residents, young and old, can utilize and enjoy."

Spinning Alfresco presented by LIfe Time Fitness
Monday, June 10 - Wednesday, June 12, 2013
6:30 am & 7:30 am
Millennium Park, Cloud Gate (201 E. Randolph St.)
Start your day with FREE outdoor spin classes at Cloud Gate in Millennium Park. Space is limited and bikes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis with two classes at 6:30 am and 7:30 am.

Velo Yoga by Moksha's Everybody Free Yoga

Certified Moksha yoga instructor and bike enthusiast Amber Cook guides this all-level FREE outdoor yoga class designed for cyclists and everyone who wants flexibility, core strength, balance, focus and joy! Wear comfortable clothes and bring a mat. Some yoga mats provided, first–come, first–served basis. Class at Noon on Daley Plaza, 50 W. Washington.

Life Time Cycle Palooza will be the culminating event of the Spinning Alfresco classes, beginning at 5:30 pm at Cloud Gate in Millennium Park. Join 100 fellow spinners for an evening spin class at Cloud Gate. Bikes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

City of Chicago's Bike to Work Rally
Friday, June 14, 2013
7 am - 9:30 am.
Daley Plaza
The Chicago Bike Week festivities will culminate on Friday, June 14 at 7am with the Bike to Work Rally on Daley Plaza (Washington and Dearborn streets). Join thousands of cyclists for live music and and FREE continental breakfast provided by 7-Eleven. Also, all cyclists will receive a FREE T-shirt as well as use of the complimentary Kickstart by Mountain Dew Free Bike Valet. Organized by Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs & Special Events.
