Chicago, IL - Lady Gaga has cancelled her two Chicago shows at the United Center this week.

"I am completely devastated and heartsick," Gaga said in a statement released by Live Nation.

Gaga's doctor ordered her to postpone performances set for Feb. 13-14 in Chicago, Feb. 16 in Detroit and Feb. 17 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada because of a condition called Synovitus, which she's been dealing with for over a month.

"I've been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for sometime now, over the last month it has worsened," Gaga further explained Tuesday on Twitter. "I've been praying it would heal."

No word on when the shows might be rescheduled.

"To the fans in Chicago Detroit & Hamilton I hope you can forgive me, as it is nearly impossible for me to forgive myself. Im devasted & sad," Gaga tweeted.
