Chicago, IL -
An estimated 1,100 people attended the Center on Halsted's 17th Annual Human First Gala benefiting the Center's Mental Health Programs, Community & Cultural Programs and Horizons Youth Program. $500,000 was raised during the evening's event at the Chicago Hilton Towers as part of the Center's $20 million capital campaign.
Human First Awards were presented to donors Tom Buchanan and Robert Bell, the After School Matters youth program, Rep. Larry McKeon, healthcare innovator Ruth M. Rothstein, and Illinois State Senate President Emil Jones.
