Early voting begins in Illinois

Chicago, IL - Early voting for the November 6, 2012 General Election started Monday morning in Illinois and will be offered through Sat., Nov. 3.

Registered voters in the Chicago can vote early at any of the 51 early voting sites. All locations are open Monday – Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and some are even open on Sundays.

Voters don't need a reason for voting early; however, it must be done in person and, unlike on Election Day, requires a government-issued photo ID.
