New York City - Calling it a "miracle" Rosie O'Donnell took to her blog Monday to reveal she survived a heart attack last week.

The 50-year-old comedian credited her survival to a Google search about her symptoms and a Bayer aspirin.

"i took some bayer aspirin/thank god/saved by a tv commercial/literally," O'Donnell wrote in her usual free verse form.

Despite her concern, O'Donnell didn't immediately call 911. The pain persisted and the next day she visited a cardiologist who did an EKG. Her coronary artery was 99 percent blocked and a stent was inserted.

"they call this type of heart attack/the Widow Maker/i am lucky to be here," she wrote.

O'Donnell recently hosted "The Rosie Show" on the Oprah Winfrey Network, which was taped on Chicago's West Side until it was cancelled in March. She lived in Lakeview for 5 months before returning to New York City.
