Fullerton, Calif. - An assistant principal in Fullerton, Calif., is in trouble after he hauled a student off a stage for mentioning gay marriage.

The student was a contestant in Fullerton Union High School's semi-satirical "Mr. Fullerton" contest. He was asked where he saw himself in ten years.

The Orange County Register said that the student said he wanted to "find the love of his life, hoped to marry him, and hoped gay marriage was legal."

"The district has concluded that the matter was not handled appropriately by the assistant pricipal," said Superintedent George Giokaris.

The assistant principal apologized to the student and the entire student body over the PA, but some kids feel that is not enough.

They are handing out sheets of paper that ask, "Where do you see yourself in 10 years?" Students' responses will be given to the assistant principal.
