Prosecutors seek murder charges against Neo-Nazis in murder of gay man

Prosecutors in Chile are seeking murder charges against the Neo-Nazis who beat and tortured a young gay man, Daniel Zamudio, to death.
Zamudio died on Tuesday night, 25 days after he was beaten, burned with cigarettes, and had swastikas carved into his body. He had been in a medically induced coma ever since, and supporters had held vigil outside the hospital.
Zamudio had worked at a clothing store and planned to pursue his dream of being in the theater.
The suspects -- Raul Alfonso Lopez, 25, Alejandro Axel Angulo Tapia, 26, Patricio Ahumada Garay, 25, and Fabian Mora Mora, 19 -- are in jail.
The President of Chile, who is currently on a diplomatic trip, said he won't rest until the country passes an anti-discrimination law, although it's not clear how that law might have saved Zamudio.
The law would ban "any distinction, exclusion or restriction that lacks reasonable justification, committed by agents of the state or individuals, and that causes the deprivation, disturbance or threatens the legitimate exercise of fundamental rights established by the constitution or in international human rights treaties ratified by Chile," reported FOX News.
