LGBT equal-rights advocate asks supporters "save the date"
Chicago, IL -
Equality Illinois asks the Chicago-based and surrounding Trans community to "Please mark your calendar" for the EQIL Winter Season Transgender Community Social.
Organizers invite those interested to "Come in from the cold and join us for an afternoon of socializing with friends old and new, noshing on delightful bites, and sipping cocktails."
The Mayne Stage Theater (1328 W. Morse Avenue) serves as the social's backdrop, Saturday, January 21, from 1 to 4 p.m. The suggested $10 donation includes light bites, drink specials, and giveaways with proceeds benefitting EQIL's statewide LGBT-rights work.
To RSVP, intended attendents are asked to send an e-mail to info@eqil.org
