Chicago’s big, gay Halloween dance party is set for Sat., Oct. 29

Chicago, IL - Circuit MOM Productions is reviving the dead this Halloween with Zombie Revolution at the historic House of Blues on Sat., October 29, 2011.

Revolution was launched this June by CMP in an effort to revitalize the large-scale circuit-style dance parties so popular over the last decade. Custom light shows, production numbers, confetti drops, world renowned DJ's and booming sound systems sparked a new appreciation for the big venue parties.

The Revolution series of parties are the work of nationally recognized event planner Matthew Harvat and his Circuit Mom Productions. Out Magazine named Harvat as Chicago's 2011 "Nighthawk" – a leading Windy City promoter and producer for which to watch out.

"I was completely blown away and honored when they called and told me I had been chosen," Harvat said of the title.

Harvat signed on to produce four LGBT-targeted parties at Chicago's House of Blues, with Zombie Revolution being the last party in the series.

"Chicago has been very quiet the last few years in terms of the larger gay party events, so I was a little concerned I wouldn't live up to the hype of the other city's guys," Harvat told ChicagoPride.com earlier this year.

The parties have lived up to the hype. Wild West Revolution held over Market Days weekend in August was sold out.

Harvat tells ChicagoPride.com that the set is being built, the legal hurdles have been cleared, the special effects are in place, the custom show music by Grammy-nominated DJ Tony Moran is complete and the dancers are rehearsed. The Revolution is ready to begin so get your costume and grab your tickets.

Zombie Revolution starring Moran and Chicago's own DJ Phil DaBeatz is Sat., October 29, 2011. Doors open at 10:30 p.m. and the party goes until 5 a.m. Presale tickets are available for $30 at Cram Fashion, 3329 N. Broadway. Tickets at the door are $40.
