Last night on the MTV Movie Awards, the biggest shocker came when Robert Pattinson laid a big kiss on his Twilight romantic rival Taylor Lautner in what appeared to be a scripted moment in the live telecast.
When the 25-year-old Pattinson and his real-life love Kristen Stewart, 21, won the popcorn trophy for Best Kiss, the British actor joked, "I just think there's someone else in the audience who I think will appreciate it a little more."
Pattinson appeared secure in his sexuality, but the same-sex kiss doesn't help Lautner, 19, fight off rumors that he might be gay.
During the live broadcast Pattinson also dropped the "f" bomb, which aired on the East Coast and was later edited out for the West Coast.
The 2011 MTV Movie Awards aired on Sunday night with appearances by Justin Timberlake, Reese Witherspoon, Mila Kunis and Cameron Diaz.
