GOP = 'Gay Old Party'? More gays vote Republican

The percentage of gays and lesbians who vote Republican is going up.
In the midterm elections on Tuesday, exit polling found that 68 percent of gays voted Democrat, 31 percent Republican, and 1 percent voted Independent, Green or other.
The Washington Post said the gay Republican vote is "ominous" news for the White House, since it's four points higher than it was in 2008.
In 2006, 24 percent of gays and lesbians voted Republican.
"The gay left would have you believe that gay conservatives don't exist," said Jimmy LaSalvia, Executive Director of gay conservative group GOProud. "This should be a wake-up call for the out-of-touch so-called leadership of Gay, Inc. in Washington, D.C., which has become little more than a subsidiary of the Democrat Party."
