Chicago, IL - Thousands lined Halsted Street Sunday evening to view children, pets, costumes and Master of Ceremonies Miss Foozie in the 14th annual Halloween Parade presented by the Northalsted Business Alliance, in conjunction with Triangle Neighbors Association.

Chilly weather did not seem to deter the diverse crowd, some in costume, some not, from enjoying the festivities.

Scores of entrants competed for prizes, with State Representative Sara Feigenholtz (D-13th) and Grab Magazine publisher Stacy Bridges among the judges for categories that included Best Kids', Best Pet, Best Drag, Scariest Adult Costume, Most Original, Best Theme Costume, Best Couple and Best Group.

The Chicago Spirit Brigade were among those performing on the main stage located at the Fabulous Parking Lot on Halsted just south of Addison.

Local merchants were pleased with the turnout.
