'DJing at IML hits a little different, knowing that so many people are getting nasty to the beats,' says Janky
DJ Janky is excited to bring his distinctive sound to The Victory Party of the annual International Mr. Leather (IML) weekend, in conjunction with CircuitMOM Productions.
“For as long as I’ve been going out in the Chicago LGBTQ scene, I’ve always known CircuitMOM Productions’ parties to be the most iconic, so, to be a part of it is a full-circle moment for me and I’m beyond excited,” Janky told GoPride.com.

Janky will be one of three DJs spinning at The Victory Party on Sunday, May 28, starting at 9 p.m., at the House of Blues (329 N. Dearborn) in downtown Chicago.
“IML is an iconic queer, sex-positive weekend where people visit from all over the country,” he said.
“DJing at IML hits a little different, knowing that so many people are getting nasty to the beats. So, I will be playing a sexy soundtrack. You can expect to hear just the right thing at just the right time to get the room to feel just the right way. And lots of energy.”
DJs Sean Parks and Marti Frieson also will be spinning at The Victory Party, which runs till 2 a.m.
Janky, 31, lives in Chicago’s Bowmanville/Lincoln Square neighborhood. He was born and raised in the northwest suburbs, has lived in the city for 13 years – and has been a DJ for eight years. Janky is a regular DJ at Hydrate Nightclub, Joy District and is a resident DJ at Replay Lakeview for “Janky’s House” on the first Friday of the month.
