After 8 Fireball performances, this year is the last for MOM

Chicago, IL - Chicago's Fireball, Washington DC's Cherry, Orlando's Gay Disney, Miami's White and Winter parties, Toronto's Unity Pride, Montreal's Black & Blue, almost every major circuit party, Circuit MOM has been there and done it!

This year’s eighth and final Fireball performance in six years by Circuit MOM promises to be a dazzling tribute to all that is glamorous. (Event Details) With his trademark smile and infusive and positive energy, Matthew Harvat, aka Circuit MOM, is moving on to new adventures in the entertainment industry.

“I will continue to support The Hearts Foundation and its many benefactors. It is simply a matter of evolution,” commented Harvat. “After 6 years of Circuit MOM, over 140 shows across the U.S and Canada, it is time for the next step, that's all.”

During the last 6 years, Circuit MOM and Roger Evans, aka Circuit DAD (Matthew’s partner for 11 years), have given back to the community through charitable performances at numerous events including two consecutive “Toronto Fashion Cares,” Canada's largest single night AIDS fundraiser sponsored by MAC Cosmetics. No other performer has ever been asked to perform twice at that event.

Harvat emphasizes, “Circuit MOM Productions is not one person, but a very dedicated group of people that want to share their love, talent and positive message with their audience.”

The Chicago native burst onto the circuit scene in 1996 and has received numerous top honors and awards for his shows including "Performer of the Year" twice by the Circuit Dog website.

"Matthew has his finger on the pulse of the Circuit," DJ legend Manny Lehman told our Michael Snell in a 2002 interview, "he does an amazing job promoting Chicago and bringing in top DJ's to Chicago."

Elaborate costumes and big productions make Circuit MOM shows so unique—everything is stylized and intentional. It’s been the attention to detail that makes Harvat's performances stand out. And it all started in Chicago.

“We have had the MOST amazing experiences over the last few years. We have met the best of the best and been blessed with mind blowing opportunities to entertain 10's of thousands of people from all over the world,” said Harvat.

“I will certainly come back out if needed for special events and such,” Harvat reassures. “But the crazy schedule will calm down considerably after November.”
