It's time for a weekend roundup of Pride month events happening soon!

It's just plain tiring to see what's allowed and what's not!

But the news keeps coming and we're steamrolling ahead with Pride.

We broke the news that IML was totally cancelled for the year—despite planning a November exhibition.

We broke news that Chicago Pride Fest is now taking place on October 1 and 2.

We broke news that the Chicago Pride Parade would be moved to October 3.

And we broke news about protests taking to the streets of Lakeview—for Drag March for Change this weekend and the People's Pride march, on what would have been Pride parade day.

Things are getting back on the calendar—both serious loads and fun mess.

Pride is a protest

This Sunday, June 13, head to the Belmont 'L' station at 12:30 p.m.

Join the Chicago Drag Council for the Chicago Drag March for Change—that according to organizers—is sending a clear message to 'Boystown' and the rest of the city that people of color have had it with the racist, homophobic, transphobic “bullshit” from police, city leaders, and even local bar and nightclub owners and their patrons.

We're in the 'burbs, too

This Saturday, June 13, Aurora Pride Drive is gearing to start.

Evanston Pride is gaining traction as more and more small businesses who've never participated in Pride celebrations dress up their shop fronts in rainbow and trans Pride flags and décor.

They would love help getting more people to sign up at evanstonpride.org so shops—and homes dressed for Pride—can get on their Evanston Pride map.

Nightlife

Touché, 6412 N. Clark St., is back with late night service and The Club Room is open, too. Your secrets are safe in there.

4 a.m. close nightly—5 a.m. close on Saturdays.

Popular Northalsted nightlife is back on track at Sidetrack, 3349 N. Halsted St.; Hydrate Nightclub, 3458 N. Halsted St.; Scarlet Bar, 3320 N. Halsted St.; Charlie's Chicago, 3726 N. Broadway; among others.

A little naughtier? Lucky Horseshoe Lounge, 3169 N. Halsted St. is also waiting for you to wave your tens and twenties in the air.

For a classy sit down with cocktails, saddle up at your favorite bars: Elixir Lounge, 3452 N. Halsted St.

Stuff your pie hole

If you're looking for a bite to eat, several fast food joints are offering your dollars to worthy LGBTQ organizations.

Burger King wants you to tell Chick-fil-a to “f*ck off” with the bigotry by buying their brand new Ch'King sandwich. Up to $250,000 or more will go to Human Rights Campaign as they head to a Senate fight to pass the Equality Act.

Shake Shack wants you to buy their glittery Pride Shake. At least $50,000 from sales will go to The Trevor Project. The more you spend, the more they'll give!

Looking ahead

Navy Pier Pride returns on June 26 from 1 to 11:30 p.m.

Chicago Pride Bowl—hosted by the Chicago Metropolitan Sports Association—is back on June 25 and 26 on the city's lakefront. Watch flag football from your own camp chairs and picnic blankets.

And Pride in the Park wraps-up Pride month with a two-day outdoor music festival at Butler Field in Grant Park on June 26 and 27. Headliners include Chaka Khan,Gryffin, and Tiësto. General Admission tickets start at $80.
