Eat a meal out and raise money for EdgeAlliance and AIDSCare Progressive Services

Chicago, IL - On April 29, over 3,500 restaurants in 55 cities across the U.S. will host "Dining Out for Life," which aims to raise funds for local HIV/AIDS charities. Hoping to bring in $4 million to support those living with HIV/AIDS, participating restaurateurs will donate a portion of their proceeds from the day of dining to the licensed agency in each city.

In Chicago, participating local restaurants will contribute up to half of the meal ticket to Chicago's EdgeAlliance and AIDSCare Progressive Services.

In the past DOFL had raise more than $75,000 for AIDSCare Progressive Services and raised awareness of HIV/AIDS to thousands of people.

"Dining Out for Life" is the single largest HIV/AIDS benefit in the country and organizers say its the easiest fundraising event to support since all you need to do is go out and enjoy a great meal.

Over 80 Chicago restaurants and diners will come together to celebrate good food, good friends and a good cause. Some of the participating Boystown - Lakeview restaurants include: Avenue Tavern, Big Jones, Crew Bar & Grill, Firefly, Francesca's Bryn Mawr, Halsted's Bar and Grill, Hamburger Mary's, Jack's on Halsted, Kit Kat Lounge and Supperclub, Minibar Ultra Lounge and Cafe.
