Well spring has sprung and hopefully that was the last of the snow we'll see until the end of the year. With the nicer weather everyone is gearing up for more outdoor activities. There's plenty to see and do this weekend - so get out there and have some fun!

THURSDAY, MARCH 25

Tired of watching American movies? Then head to the Gene Siskel Film Center for the 13th Annual European Union Film Festival. All 27 EU nations are represented in this yearís festival, which includes 59 feature films, and they are all Chicago premieres. Check the site for details and screening times.

Don't forget that it's free admission to the Art Institute tonight from 5-8PM. So not only do you get a chance to see the new Modern Wing but you won't have to be rushed to do

I hope you haven't forgotten that Chicago native Christine Ebersole will be at the Harris Theater tonight starting at 7:30. I've got my tickets and I can't wait to see her. Tix start at $25

FRIDAY, MARCH 26

Twins Tegan and Sara are making another stop in Chicago tonight at the Aragon Ballroom at 8PM. Steel Train and Holly Miranda will also appear with the doors opening at 7PM. General Admission, all ages, tix are $30 and can be purchased online.

Links Hall is hosting 'LinkUp Residency Artists' Spring 2010 Showcase' this weekend. Enjoy 'Detail of Double Escapement' created and performed by LinkUp Residency artist Tif Bullard at 8PM and 'Rehersals for Becoming Gods'. Burlesque is EVERYWHERE! The Lakeshore Theater hosts Varietease Cabaret tonight at 10:30 hosted by Backdoor Aly - what a dirty girl! Special guests include Red Hot Annie, Dizzy Lizzy and The Honey Buns. Tix are $15

SATURDAY, MARCH 27

Are you looking to make some new friends, meet some cool people? Then you should check out the Lincoln Park Lagooners. Tonight they host their annual Candlelight Bowling party at Timber Lanes. You must RSVP for this event and it's sure to be a sellout.

Head to UIC Pavilion tonight to catch the Windy City Rollers in action. Doors open at 5PM and Hell's Belles will take on Manic Attackers at 6PM while The Fury will race against Double Crossers at 7:30PM. Tix are $20 in advance and VIP tickets are available.

Go on and get dirty with the Chicago Dragons Rugby team during their "Free Rugby Clinic" at Rauner College Prep Gym - 1337 W Ohio from noon to 3PM. If you've been wanting to get down and dirty with some rugby boys? Well now you have your chance! Get out there and get dirty!

SUNDAY, MARCH 28

It's the last Sunday in March and it's the last chance to catch "Show us Your Love" a one-act musical revue at Mary's Attic. The show starts at 7:30 and tix are available online $15-25. Check out their great video.

Get to the Annoyance Theater in Uptown for Ryan Heywood's solo sketch show "Confession of a Tramp Stamp"at 8PM. Tix are $10 and can be purchased online. Check the site for other great comedy shows.

The Alvin Aily American Dance Theater has been at the Auditorium Theater at Roosevelt University all this week and you have a final chance today at 3PM to watch them glide gracefully across the immense stage. Tix are $30-85 and can be purchased online.

BONUS : The Gay Gaymers will have their monthly meetup at Guthrie's Tavern 1300 W Addison starting at 5PM. Stop by and enjoy some board games, card games, video games or who knows what other kinds of games may show up. A fun time is sure to be had. This is a 21+ event.
