Well spring has sprung, summer was a dud, so here's to hoping that Autumn is full of color and excitement. There's lots going on this weekend, festivals galore and make sure that while you're out Saturday you join in on the Silent Revolution: SSHD! Also, your vote is needed to send a Chicagoan to speak at the National Equality March in October, do the Chicago thing and vote early - vote often!

I hope you're hungry! There are two amazing dinner crawls going on tonight. The Taste of Edgewater and Rogers Park Dinner Crawl will give you a chance to try more restaurants in one night than you ever thought possible. I had an amazing time at the Edgewater Dinner Crawl on Bryn Mawr earlier this year and I'm sure these two will be no different. Check the sites for prices and details - make sure to purchase your tickets in advance. Make sure to put the Andersonville Dessert Crawl on your calendar for October 11th.

Head on over to the American Theater Co and take in 'yeast nation (the triumph of life)' a play about salt eating yeast. No I'm not crazy, but the show has to be, it's by the same group that brought Urinetown: The Musical into existence, so they know what they're doing. yeast plays through October 8th, tickets are $30 and can be bought online.

The Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce is hosting their Annual Chamber Private Boat Cruise from 6-9:30PM, tickets are $55-70. Includes food, drinks and an amazing boat cruise on Lake Michigan.
