Where are our hero's? Now there's something that seems to be missing these days! I'm not talking about a man in tights with a cape on. (Although I wouldn't be surprised to see that in Boystown) I'm talking about people who make a daily difference in the lives of those around them; people who give of their resources without ever looking for credit; or those individuals who beat the odds and win the unconquerable fight.

One such person is my dear friend Paul Kepner ! Paul is more than an interior design consultant and party thrower he is a cancer survivor and one of my hero's!

It's been five years now that Paul has been in remission. For those who struggle to endure the battle over cancer, that five year mark is something very special.

Can you imagine the worry and fear that Paul must feel on a daily basis? And yet, he continues to bring beauty to homes, frivolity to parties and joy to anyone who attends one of his W orld's S mallest A partment events! Now, that's heroic, and I truly admire him and the courage he possesses!!

Paul has made it his personal goal to raise the most money in Chicago-Land for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
