For its 50th anniversary season, Steppenwolf Theatre Company presents Windfall in the Ensemble Theater. The production is performed in the round on risers and with arena-style seating similar to a rally. This gives an immersive feel to the piece and the players often break the fourth wall to speak directly to the audience.
The plot centers around a family that has lost one of its members in an altercation with the police. Michael Potts plays Henri Tamaño, a father who wrestles with accepting a cash settlement and is haunted by his adopted son Marcus' ghost.
