Sound-Bar is gearing up for it's Gay Sunday event. They're kicking off their Sunday's on May 30th with Ralphi. If you're not bound up in leather during IML weekend, come by. If you still have not been to Sound-Bar, this is the perfect time to check it out. The party should be hot. For those kids not interested in wearing a harness, come by and let me take your picture. Look for the shaved head with the camera...

Poor Christina. "Straining" her vocal chords like that. Perhaps if she didn't holler so much she might not have hurt herself. Don't get me wrong, I think she has talent. But gurl, pull back now and then.

Like a dream come true, James Marsters has let go of his peroxide locks. He's allowed someone to shave his head. On the Ryan Seacrest show no less. No, I'm not a Buffy fan, but I am a James Marsters fan AND I like shaved heads.

The Bar Olympics have come to a close. Congrats to Hydrate for a great come back from behind. How beautiful was that whole event?! I absolutely love seeing all of my bar brethren and sisthren (is that a word?) partying together. Bar people know how to drink, and lemme tell you, last Monday night was no exception. Good times! And my Chicago/New York mash up mix actually sounded good. Who knew?

Bucks patio is open and ready kids. Get your butts to the bar and grab as many drinks as you can hold. Head out back and enjoy the Chicago evening. It's so beautiful back there I almost don't want to go anywhere else...

Speaking of patios, Sidetrack is gearing theirs up. There is a new staircase in the back. You can believe I'll be up on that roof with my camera as soon as it's open.

The Cell Block is still closed. But I have to give their staff a HUGE shout out 'cause those kids were STILL competing in the Bar Olympics up to the end. No, the bar isn't opening any time soon. But the spirit of the 'Block lives on. Bravo kids. And your farting drag number was brilliant.

Charlies Angels. No, it's not Lucy Liu and company, but it IS the brainchild show of Miss Lauren Jacobs (god I hope I spelled that right). Bringing together title holders and competitors from all over Chicagoland and beyond, Miss Jacobs puts on her showcase show on Sunday Night at Charlie's. It starts at something like 10PM drag time, so bring your dollars and get there early for a cocktail or three.
