After a recent visit to Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, it was announced that the president Welz Kauffman would be stepping down after next season and the completion of 20 years at the helm of the outdoor concert space.
While we eagerly await the announcement of the 2020 lineup, don't forget to dine at the surrounding restaurants while you are in the area. The Park View dining room offers a place to take in the sights of the massive lawn and try some top notch cuisine. The Cape Cod Monkfish was outstanding and finish things off with the frozen hot chocolate.
Stay tuned for next season at Ravinia.org.
