The Tullamore D.E.W. bus made a pit stop at the Tortoise Club on State Street recently. Tullamore Dew is the second largest selling whiskey globally produced by William Grant & Sons. The whiskey was produced in Tellamore, Ireland, and uses the initials of Daniel E. Williams, the late owner of the original distillery in the name.

The brand embassador Jane Maher was onhand to introduce the cocktails and high end whiskey samplings. She took guests on a journey pairing some of the delicious food with the libations.

The Tortoise Supper Club provided Lake Superior whitefish with a lemon tarragon butter and bean salad to enjoy along with the tasting.

The owner of Buckledown Brewing brought several of his beers to wash everything down.

Whether just on the rocks or mixed in a cocktails this whiskey is perfect for St. Patrick's Day. Try the recipe named after the man himself titled The Daniel E. Williams. Take the Dew, apple cider, simple syrup, lemon juice, and bitters and mix it all together. Shake it up and garnish with an apple slice. Yumyy!
