It's that time of the year again to roll out that red carpet! Ladies, knock some curls into that hair or weave. Gurlz (my fellow gay men), make sure them eyebrows are snatched for the Gods. Gents (straight men) polish those shoes for the 87th Annual Oscars are this Sunday, February 22, and of course yours truly has a party on deck for you sit up in and look cayute!
The Heartland Health Outreach Junior Networking Committee will be hosting its 5 th Annual Oscars Viewing Party in support of the Vital Bridges program at John Barleycorn River North (149 Kinzie) at 6:30pm. Now, I've never been to this Oscar party, but I've heard from trusted sources...ahem...friends who go out a lot that this is a definite staple for Oscar partying. So, in preparation I'm gonna get these edges together, have Eric my barber touch up my mohawk, and break out a crisp shirt and shiny blazer for the occasion!

To the backdrop of the Oscars broadcast guests will indulge in specialty appetizers, a Popcorn Bar from Garrett Popcorn Shops, and most importantly custom Svedka cocktails inspired by the Oscars.
