The Andersonville and Edgewater neighborhoods have been ranked as the "gayest" neighborhoods in Chicago - and among the top ten in the country - according to a recent study conducted by Trulia and dating website OKCupid.

Chicago's LGBT community and allies held an Equality Rally at Andersonville's Midsommafest Sunday, as thousands of LGBT rights supporters marched and rallied in Washington D.C., Los Angeles and dozens of other U.S. cities, in one of the biggest protests since President Donald Trump took office.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on Thursday approved a generic version of Truvada, Gilead Sciences of Foster City, California's blockbuster drug for HIV treatment and pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), which, when taken as prescribed, lowers the chances of people at high risk for HIV from contracting the disease.
