37th annual Northalsted Market Days, Aug. 11-12 (Full entertainment schedule below)
Chicago, IL -
The Midwest's largest street festival is back as Northalsted Market Days 2018 takes over Chicago's Boystown neighborhood with some of the biggest parties and a bevy of entertainment options this weekend.
Nearly 200,000 people will descend on the six blocks of North Halsted between Addison and Belmont to browse the unique vendors, eat, drink and dance to a variety of 40 different musical acts playing on five entertainment stages throughout the day.
"For more than 30 years Northalsted Market Days has set the bar for Chicago festivals and this year is no exception," said Northalsted Business Alliance Executive Director Chad Honeycutt. "We can't wait to welcome our neighbors and visitors alike to celebrate summer in Boystown."
With appearances by Betty Who, Todrick Hall, Kimberly Locke, Martha Wash, Ty Herndon, MAX and others, Market Days is set to deliver on its reputation as a must-do fest in the Midwest.
"I can't wait! I heard someone say it was gayer than Pride! And that it's going to literally be so fun, they say they shut all of Boystown down," Who told ChicagoPride.com in June before an exclusive Pride event at the AT&T Michigan Avenue flagship store.
"It's going to be lit!"
Also in the mix are newcomers and Chicago mainstays – like 16 Candles, Catfight and Boy Band Review – all split between two days and five stages. You'll find the full lineup below.
