Chelsea Manning shares first photo after prison

Manning: ‘Okay, so here I am everyone!!’
Chelsea Manning on Thursday shared a photo of herself on social media a day after her release from prison after seven years.
"Okay, so here I am everyone!!" she posted to Twitter and Instagram, along with a photo of herself. wearing red lipstick and sporting a black top cut deeply in a V in the front. She added the hashtag #HelloWorld.
Documentary filmmaker Tim Travers Hawkins shot the portrait photo, the ACLU told NBC News. Hawkins is currently shooting a documentary about Manning's adjustment to life outside of prison, called "XY Chelsea."
The 29-year-old transitioned from male to female while in prison for giving classified materials to the website WikiLeaks. Sentenced to 35 years in prison, she was released early after seven years due to a commutation from President Barack Obama in January.
Manning was released from military prison in Leavenworth, Kansas early Wednesday morning.
