Chicago, IL - A former part-time Chicago radio disc jockey, who went by the name "Radio Boy," pleaded guilty today to soliciting a 13-year-old Carol Stream boy for sex and faces up to 5 years in prison when sentenced later this year.

Michael Wawrzyniak, who worked for 103.5 KISS-FM, was terminated shortly after he was arrested in January 2008 by Carol Stream police.

According to court records, Wawrzyniak, 24, of the 1700 block of South Michigan Avenue in Chicago, began a relationship with the youth in December 2007 and once had intimate contact with him.

After the youth's parents notified Carol Stream police, a detective assumed the youth's identity and set up another meeting in the village, where Wawrzyniak was arrested.

He pleaded guilty Monday to indecent solicitation of a child and is to be sentenced by DuPage County Judge Blanche Hill Fawell. He is out of the county jail on $150,000 bond.

Before the arrest, Wawrzyniak was a weekend disc jockey and did production work at KISS-FM. A spokesman for the station's owner, Clear Channel Radio-Chicago, said Wawrzyniak was terminated the day after his arrest.
