TPAN’s Committed to Living Focuses on Diabetes and HIV

Chicago, IL - Test Positive Aware Network (TPAN) will host its Committed to Living continuing HIV education series on Wednesday, November 5 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at TPAN, located at 5537 N. Broadway. Nutritionist Shelley Scott will present the November forum—Diabetes, Diet and Nutrition—and will discuss how to shop, plan and create healthy meals for people affected by diabetes and how to prevent it. Also in November, TPAN's 37th Treatment Education Advocacy Management (TEAM) program will take place November 10-14, each day from 5:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the TPAN offices. TEAM is a rubric of several programs that provide peer-led education in HIV treatment and prevention and seeks to promote wellness and health outcomes in different modalities and for different targeted populations.
